Bristol Flea Market - February

Sunday 19th February 2012

The event will follow on from the huge success of the giant flea market at the Bath Racecourse and will feature over 110 exciting stalls selling hundreds of items, from vintage clothing and jewellery to quality shabby chic furnishings and gardenalia. Some of the best dealers in the South West have already signed up to exhibit at the event. We hope to see you there, doors open 9am and the event closes at 3.30.

We’ve put together some easy hints and tips if your thinking of coming along.

  • Don’t be afraid to make the trader an offer you feel to be more suitable, they can only say yes, no or make you a compromise
  • Say your offer with confidence, an item is only worth what somebody is prepared to pay, the stall holder wants to sell and you want to buy!
  • But don’t forget the traders don’t get these items for free and they often make very small profits
  • Thousands of people visit the Bristol flea markets and if you see something you really like make and offer and get it there and then as often someone else will snap it up for you
  • Last of all, make sure you check any electrical items before using them. Flea markets are full of high quality items but it’s best for piece of mind
