Forget Peckham! Ashton Gate became a shrine to all things Only Fools And Horses on Sunday, October 25th.
Fans of the BBC TV sitcom travelled from around the country for their 12th annual convention, and met some of the original cast including Boycie (actor John Challis) and Marlene (Sue Holderness).
City's home ground was chosen because many of the show's scenes were shot in and around the stadium.
For example, Winterstoke Road car park was the location for Peckham Market, and the nearby Duckmoor Road flats (behind the Dolman Stand) doubled up as Nelson Mandela House.
In addition to meeting some of the stars, visitors – some of whom came dressed as main characters Del Boy and Uncle Albert – viewed films, props and costumes and an entire studio set of the Trotters' flat.
The event was staged by the Only Fools And Horses Appreciation Society.
