Artist info

Bill Bailey is an acclaimed comedian, musician and actor best known for his live shows Bewilderness and Part Troll and his work on television in programmes such as Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Black Books.

The Ashton Gate show will showcase brand new material only performed in smaller venues during a recent tour of Scotland and the north of England. It will also feature exclusive video footage filmed in and around Bristol by award-winning local film-maker Joe Magee.

The Wild Gulloots are are Bristol alternative/rock band who recently sold out the O2 Academy in Bristol and have a strong local following.

Tickets

Tickets will be on sale on the night priced £20-30. Students can buy two tickets for the price of one on production of their NUS card. The Bristol Evening Post is running an £10 seat offer for the lowest-priced blocks. All seats will be subject to availability.

Food/drink

The bar in the Dolman Exhibition Hall (situated under the Dolman Stand) will be open to the public from 6.30pm.

A catering village has been set up inside the old Hirerite building.

Kiosks around the stadium will sell hot/cold drinks and snack food.

NB No glass bottles or alcohol can be brought into the stadium. Smoking restrictions apply.

Travel

All visitors are advised to leave plenty of time for their journey. Congestion is anticipated around the stadium especially at rush hour and the end of the concert. Please plan your journey accordingly..

The stadium (BS3 2EJ) is signposted from all major routes into Bristol and is best reached via junction 18 (northbound) / junction 18a (southbound) of the M5.

Parking

No parking will be available at the stadium.

There will be limited street parking around the ground and concert-goers are warned that a towaway scheme will be in operation.

Official concert parking is available on Clanage Road (Bedminster CC - BS3 2JX) and Parsonage Farm (BS41 9LU) from 5.30pm at a cost of £7 (Clanage) / £5 (Parsonage Farm) per vehicle. Spaces are subject to availability. Alternatively they can be booked by calling 0871 222 66 66 (option 1 - "football tickets") in advance. NB Long Ashton Park & Ride will not be in operation.

Both sites will be signposted as you get near the stadium, which is in walking distance.

Miscellanous

Please retain your ticket stub as a "pass-out" from the stadium should this be required. Tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded or returned. Lost tickets will not be replaced. The right to admission is reserved.
No video or audio recording equipment will be allowed inside the venue.
Tickets will be refunded in the event of cancellation.

All press should report to William Stand reception to pick up their pass/ticket. Restrictions may apply to photographers.
