Ashton Gate Stadium

Ashton Gate Stadium, located in south west England is home to Bristol Football Club and is Bristol’s premier conference and events venue.

Situated just south of the River Avon, Ashton Gate Stadium has a capacity of 21,497. Over the years the stadium has played host to a number of historical rugby matches with Bristol Rugby Club. Since 1899 a number of international rugby matches have been held at the stadium.

The Wedlock East Stand, built as a covered terrace in 1928 and converted to seats in the 1990s, was originally the home fans’ end until 1994 when it became the away stand holding up to 5,500 supporters.

The Williams Stand, named after former Chairman Des Williams, was built in 1958 and includes the directors’ box and press box. Comprises old wooden seating and new premier seating and houses the home fans only.

The Dolman Stand is a two tiered stand with the upper level only being added in 1995. This stand houses the stadium's largest function room, the Dolman Exhibition Hall.

The Atyeo Stand, built in 1994, replaced an older open terrace. It contains new dressing rooms and a gymnasium and is named after John Atyeo, a former BCFC player, the club's top goal scorer scoring 351 in 645 games.
